MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS #GIVINGTUESDAY
On Tuesday, December 3, #GivingTuesday kicks off our End-of-Year giving at Denton Christian Preschool. On this day, we like to celebrate how far we've come this year with the help of our fellow supporters in preparing three and four-year-olds for kindergarten.

Join us as we work toward our 50th-year celebration in 2020 by supporting our End-of-Year campaign today.
HOW YOU CAN TAKE PART
OUR GOAL
EOY bus photo Post.png

DCP prepares at-risk preschool children for success in school and life through a holistic approach. One way that we ensure our children receive the education they need every day is through our transportation service included in children's tuition costs. This is our biggest asset and we're proud to be THE ONLY preschool center in Denton to provide this service at no additional cost. Our buses pick up and drop off our children to and from their homes for those who reside within the Loop 288 and I-35 area.

Our three buses, the Dawn, Butterfly and Sunshine buses, were obtained by the Denton Benefit League grant funding. They're equipped with booster seats, seat belts, and emergency alarms - features that differentiate our buses from regular public school buses. Add the costs of vehicle maintenance such as oil change, state inspection, tune-ups, etc. the costs can add up very quickly, not to mention unexpected repairs.

This #GivingTuesday help us reach our $2,500 goal to cover the costs of getting the much needed full tune-up and other repairs our Sunshine bus needs to remain to transport our children safely.

DCP had the privilege to see the Cortez siblings beginning in 2004 with the eldest Cortez followed by his two younger sisters. Thanks to our transportation service, all three siblings were taken to and from school while both parents worked.

In 2019, the Cortez family had double the reason to celebrate. The oldest Cortez graduated from Denton High School and going off to be a technician, one sister finished middle school where she was part of the Damas Unidas GOAL’s soccer program and going off to Denton High in the fall, and the youngest graduated from our preschool program where she learned how to spell her first and last name before heading off to kindergarten!
