We introduced you all the wonderful staff that cares and nurtures for our children last semester, but we still have more people we're thankful for in our DCP family. We have a new addition to the bus driving team this semester and we'd like for you to meet him. This week's Staff Spotlight goes to our newest bus driver, Kyle Robinson.
It was music to Mrs. Alicia's ears when the search for a new bus driver was finally over (no more will Mrs. Alicia need to step out of the premises and be a bus driver)! Kyle began working with us during the first week of school and quickly learned the ins and outs of the Sunshine bus route. He learned about the job opening from one of our teachers and felt like it was a meaningful way to give back to the Denton community.
"Seeing the children excited to go to school every morning and then hearing them sing in the afternoons is what I like about working here," Kyle said. "Their energy is contagious and it makes the job feel that much more rewarding."
Besides being DCP's part-time bus driver, Kyle is currently studying electrical engineering at the University of North Texas. He has a cat named Abbie and he enjoys playing video games, snowboarding, and playing tennis during his free time.
