We have great staff members who help our teachers meet the daily needs of our children. From assisting in classroom activities to sanitizing toys, laminating and cutting papers, we could not function without the help from our work-studies. This week's Staff Spotlight goes to Ally Hicks.
Ally is a second-year DCP work-study majoring in Political Science at the University of North Texas. That's how she found out about DCP's work-study opportunity and found this to be a great fit!
"I've been working with kids for years, it's one of my passions," Ally said. "I love the relaxed and caring work environment here. It feels like a family."
Ally is a huge book worm! If you peek into the classrooms, you'll find Ally reading to our children every chance she gets. She loves hiking with her dog, cooking and relaxing with a long bath. In her free time, she watches her favorite show, Parks and Rec.
