Get up and Give, Save the Date!


Denton Christian Preschool is participating in the Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day, a one-day online giving extravaganza for our whole region. 

Last year, we had 51 donations coming to a total of $8,296. Funds went toward office/classroom supplies and student tuition to keep students enrolled when their parent’s financial status changed mid-year. This resulted in keeping children in classrooms instead of at home or in unsafe conditions where they wouldn’t be advancing their learning, receive proper nutrition or social interaction with other students.

In September, North Texas Giving Day kicks off our fundraising season and we’d like to invite you to join the movement and help us reach our goal of $15,000 on September 17.


Here’s how you can help:

1. Get Up and Give on September 17!

Your gift matters! On September 17, if you donate to Denton Christian Preschool on between 6 a.m. and midnight, your dollar will be stretched with our $700 matching fund plus bonus funds and prizes raised by Communities Foundation of Texas! 
Not available on September 17? No worries! Schedule your donation between September 1 and September 16 and make your gift count! 

2. Create a FUNdraising Page!
Create a FUNdraising page on behalf of Denton Christian Preschool. Highlight why DCP is close to your heart and help us reach our fundraising goal. You’ll be able to share this with your network via email and social media. To learn more and receive tips on how to promote your page, visit

3. Spread the Word!

Spread the word to your friends and loved ones about Denton Christian Preschool and North Texas Giving Day! Don’t forget to tag @DentonCPS on Instagram and Twitter and #NTxGivingDay if you’re posting online! Encourage your friends and family to get up and give as well!


#WhyIGive: I believe that the foundation of a successful life is a good education. DCP helps kids get off on an equal footing with others in public school. DCP identifies and corrects potential problems so that kids are ready and excited to learn. This is important to DCP benefits all citizens in the future.
